STATEMENT OF FAITH
By Conrad Barrett
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He came to this earth as a baby. He was born of the Virgin Mary and lived among us and was crucified at age 33. He died for the sins of the world and arose from the dead on the third day. Today, He lives as our High Priest and sits at the right hand of God the Father. Ultimately, He will take full control of all the universe and will reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
We believe Jesus provides salvation, healing, and leadership for all mankind and it is ours just for asking.
We believe salvation is in none other than Jesus, Himself, because He told us "He is the way." Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are the Holy God-head and they are a trinity of completeness.
The world and all mankind will ultimately be judged for deeds done by a fair and just God.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is sufficient to help guide mankind through any experience of life.
We believe all born-again people are Christians and should love each other and should never be divisive, but should support each other in a prayerful and sincere way.
Jesus is coming again, but until He does we should be diligent in being faithful to our specific calling until He does come.
At the conclusion of mankind's life span on earth, there will be heaven or eternal destruction awaiting those who have chosen their individual life styles as to how they have lived and as to whom their masters were while on earth. The decision as to where each individual spends eternity is totally decided by the individual.
We believe that each Christian should follow the Lord fully and should seek Him and receive from Him as much knowledge and infillings of the Holy Spirit as possible and should be an example of Christian behavior.
Pastor's Message There are several commandments mentioned in the Bible but none surpass the two named specifically by Jesus.
Those mentioned by Jesus are that
(1) we are to love God with the whole heart and
(2) we are to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Another commandment which should be considered very carefully is this:
"Be ye kind one to another."
Kindness and true Christianity go together. They are inseparable and anyone who shows sincere kindness will never regret it. As individuals we cannot fill the entire world with kindness but we can start. People are seldom scolded for kindness and those who show it will be truly blessed.
